| A Family Tradition of Auto Body Repair since 1956. |
Jim Heather's father, Tom Heather Sr., opened
a body shop in Ashland, Illinois in 1956. Jim worked in his father's shop from the time he was old enough to push
a broom. He always dreamed of taking over the business when he was grown.
Years later when Tom retired, the shop closed and Jim took his experience to work in other shops. But the dream of owning
his own shop stayed with him.

Jim and Josh Heather.
In 1994 that dream
became reality when Jim Heather Autobody & Refinishing, Inc. opened in Springfield, IL. The company grew, serving
customers by providing the quality workmanship that has become synonymous with the Heather name throughout the years.
In 2004 Ashland's only existing body shop closed. Jim took the family
business back to its roots, opening his second location in Ashland. After extensive remodeling and installation of state
of the art equipment, Joshua Heather, Jim's son, assumed management of the new shop.

Later that same year, the opportunity
to expand once again presented itself. A shop in Jacksonville, Illinois closed. This location soon became the
latest addition to the growing company. We at Jim Heather Autobody & Refinishing,
Inc., are proud to serve the communities that have helped to build our company into one that we can all be proud of.
We are committed to the continuation of our family tradition by providing excellent customer service and the best quality
workmanship in Illinois.
